Though small, this vase carries many striking weaving patterns and symbols inspired by Interior & Coast Salish cultural heritage; including ancient pictograms symbolic of salmon and water bodies such as the Sát̓atqwa7 river and Tsal̓álh. This bowl also features a finely carved porcelain surface, a bold, black exterior glaze in Patrick's signature style and a vivid blue interior reminiscent of the coastlines of the Salish Seas and the deep (often turbulent) skies of the North Pacific.
