Our Products

At Edgelands we bring you the finest quality, authentic artwork and products from island dwelling and coastal artists, designers and makers from across the globe. Please note that the majority of our products are handmade and therefore there may be reasonable variations in the colour, texture and appearance of products between what appears displayed online and delivered to you.  Edgelands will not be liable for such minor variations.

Payment Methods

We accept the following credit/debit card payment methods:  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Union Pay, JCB, Discover, Maestro, and Apple Pay. If you wish to pay over the phone please get in touch with our team to arrange this payment option.

If you live outside of the UK, your credit/debit card will be billed in your local currency using an exchange rate at your card company’s discretion. Daily exchange rates will vary and final price adjustments may occur on your card. If you wish to find out more please consult your bank or financial institution for more details.

For high value limited edition products and/or custom orders, we may require additional identification checks before your final payment is processed and if applicable our team will get in touch before processing the order to arrange this.

Please note that the price of artworks and fine jewellery are liable to change over time as their value changes.

Order Confirmations

If an item is in stock it will be processed and shipped to you when we have all the information required to do so. All goods and services will be provided as per your order confirmation.

Order Processing Times

At Edgelands, our small dedicated team endeavours to process customer orders within 2-3 business days. Please note that due to our island location our processing times vary from season to season, and may be subject to change at short notice. Check your order confirmation for current processing times or get in touch to find out more.

Processing times for corporate orders and custom orders are customised to each order. If you are interested in corporate gifting or have a particular delivery date in mind please get in touch with our team to find out how we can assist you.

Standard Orders

Full payment is required upfront for all products and gifting services with the exception of custom orders. See applicable terms for custom orders below.

Custom Orders

All custom orders for products, artworks and jewellery require a deposit of 50% of the retail value of the item/s to be paid in order to secure your order. An estimated production time will be provided at the time of deposit. Please note that estimated wait times may be subject to change at short notice and we reserve the right to change them as and when applicable. Once custom orders are received at the gallery, you will be contacted to approve the item before paying the remaining 50% of the retail value of the item/s and any applicable shipping or processing fees. Once the full cost of the order is paid, your item/s will be released for shipping.

Delivery and Transport

In order to ensure your artworks are delivered safely all our orders come with tracking, insurance coverage and 2-3 business day delivery as standard. A Special Delivery service is applied to all high value orders that includes tracking, insurance coverage, a signature on delivery service and next day delivery.

Please note: due to the fragile nature of the items we sell, if you order more than one item they may be shipped separately to ensure they arrive safely.

All orders will be sent out with the aforementioned delivery services unless otherwise stated in your order confirmation. All responsibilities for the safe, accurate and timely delivery and transportation of your order will be carried by the delivery service selected. This includes any issues arising regarding damages in the mail,  delays and returns. Edgelands does not cover the cost of damages in the mail. Please see our Claims Policy for details.

Online Returns

Online returns are applicable within 14 days of receiving your order. All costs associated with shipping returns or exchanges will be carried by the customer. All returned items for exchanges or refunds must be in their original condition. Once received at the gallery we will endeavour to have your refund submitted within 3 business days. For exchanges, a shipping bill will be issued and must be paid before your items are shipped out to your chosen destination.

Claims

Any damage must be reported in writing to us within 4 days of delivery. Edgelands does not cover the cost of damages in the mail. For returns relating to eligible damages or faults, photographs of the item/s must be confirmed by the gallery before the item/s are returned. Once received at the gallery we will issue a refund paid out on receipt and inspection of the order.

Walking Tour: Guest Protocols

The following protocols exist to ensure all of our customers are well prepared and ready to participate safely in our walking tours. Please find our Guest Protocols below:

  • Please bring sturdy and waterproof footwear, weather appropriate clothing [we always recommend layers as you can adjust as you walk], your own water, insect repellent and sunscreen. Any essential medications.

  • Our tours start promptly. We recommend arriving 10-15 min before the event starts to allow time to get ready for the walk and gather together.

If you require the support of a service animal for any of our events please contact us to discuss a tailored booking.

  • Please note that the location of our walks may change if ground conditions dictate in order for us to deliver a safe and relaxing experience for you. There are many amazing walking sites on Gigha and should there be a change in the walking site, we will get in touch to inform you of the change. For full details see our Terms of Service here

  • Before visiting the Isle of Gigha please familiarise yourself with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

  • Have Questions? Check out our FAQ Page or contact the event team to find out more.
